Bonnie and Clyde

While working on Annie Jr. Jason was also working in Bonnie and Clyde through Get Up Stage Company. Jason played Ted Hinton, a role that challenged him vocally as well as nurtured his soul. He was able to meet new friends as well as was able to work with Director Lindsey DiPietro again, this time on the other side of the table. This show healed him in ways he never knew, and though he auditioned on a whim, was glad to be a part of this experience.

Sophomore Year In Review

During his sophomore year at Dean College, Jason tried his hand at plays to help strengthen his acting skills. During the fall semester, Jason played Max/Cecil/Arthur in The Play That Goes Wrong, where he learned about fight choreography (specifically with swords) and how to sharpen his comedic timing. During the spring semester, Jason played Eddie in Pocatello, directed by Andrew Gallant. Jason delved in Meisner technique for this show and learned that though it is not his favorite technique, he was happy to learn something new.

Let's Build A Prom!

After performing all year long at Dean, Jason decided to try his hand at Stage Managing a full musical with Get Up Stage Company. Their summer show was The Prom, directed by Lindsey DiPietro and choreographed by Charlotte Pons. Jason was able to hone in on his organizational skills, learned how to better support his actors and when to advocate for them. He also learned how to work with lights, sound and a pit altogether to bring the show onto its feet!

In the spring, Jason performed in the Featured Male Ensemble of Pippin, directed by Jim Beauregard.
